Leave & Go: Stepping Boldly into the New Year

0 out of 5

In Genesis 12, God shows up to this man Abram (later to be called Abraham) and tells him to leave his country, people, and father’s household and to go to a place God would later show him — a step of faith if there ever was one.

When God said go, He used the Hebrew word Halak — a word that meant more than just heading out to something new. It meant to depart, to leave behind what you have now for something new.

Stepping into God’s promises for the new year requires us to do just that — leave behind old habits, mindsets, routines, and sometimes relationships or jobs or dreams in order to walk into all God has for us.

The STEPS found in this guide will help you to leave behind the old in order to step into all God has for you this new year.
