ENCOUNTER GOD IN A NEW WAY
The Ignite Retreat is unlike any college student retreat you’ve ever attended. Held at a retreat center nestled in the woods in West Central Illinois, everything about this retreat is designed to help you have a genuine encounter with God — whether by being challenged in the sessions, hearing God during worship and prayer, building relationships and getting advice from other students over meal times, or in your one-on-one time with God, we guarantee you will experience a new level with Him. College students and young adults from throughout the West Central Illinois and Eastern Iowa regions come together for a weekend — and leave changed.
Encounter God during multiple sessions of extended worship and prayer.
Be challenged and motivated to grow your faith during main sessions with powerful speakers.

We have a rule here in Ignite: never let money be the reason why you don’t have an encounter with God. Simply indicate on the registration form that you need a scholarship, and we’ll be in touch to get you covered.
The Ignite Retreat is best experienced in full. However, we know sometimes that’s just not possible. Let us know on your registration form that you can only make part of the retreat, and we’ll let you know the cost for the time you’ll be there.
The Ignite Retreat is open to high school seniors, college students, and young adults up to age 24.
You can pay online when you book your registration (the best option to receive discounts!) or make a check out to Ignite or bring cash to your local Ignite group to pay.
No Ignite group at your campus? We’ll send out instructions via email when you register.
God often shows up in our lives when we disconnect from everything else and pursue Him. If you fully engage during the retreat — be involved in the sessions, worship fully, share with others, spend time with Him — you will hear God in some way.
Carpooling is available from each college campus. When you register for the retreat, we will connect you with the carpooling group from your school.
There’s a field on the registration form that asks about food allergies and dietary restrictions. Simply indicate any allergies or restrictions when you register and we’ll make sure the food is safe for you to eat.
After struggling with serious guilt and constantly being attacked by the enemy through lies, I found myself so far from God, but on this retreat, God revealed to me that He has already forgiven me and loves me unconditionally. So I’m VERY thankful for the blessing of Ignite.
During communion, I broke down crying when I told the story of how I had died twice as an infant. That day I really understood what God had given me. He had given me a fighting chance against the trickster. He fought for my life just for me to see the beautiful things he made.
Before this retreat, I was so insecure with sharing with others what all God has done in my life. Never had I told my testimony so many times and with so much passion. Ignite has taught me that it is not all about me, it’s everyone around me. I will make a difference because I am MARKED by God.
During this retreat, I can testify to the glory of the Lord in my life. For, I genuinely experienced God’s presence during worship. I was also reassured that He listens to me and He is at work within me. I can honestly testify NEVER did I walk alone!
For college students, especially Christians attending a non-Christian college, it’s really hard to keep my faith. We often are discouraged by non-Christians, or stressful college life. But for this retreat, I could really encounter God, recheck the path I was walking, and get encouraged by fellow Christians.
God slowed down the busyness of my life and allowed me to relax in His presence.
God told me that I am important, that my ideas matter, my words matter, and I matter.
